Are You Trying To Make Something Happen

Have you ever tried to make something happen? It can be big or small. It can be about you or someone else. It can be about a job, an opportunity, a large purchase, a relationship, a promotion and the list goes on. I have many times and sometimes it never happens. And until recently I never thought about this one simple detail. If God can't make it happen then I surely can't make it happen. I know God can do anything but He gives us and others free will.

We are so busy over thinking why our something hasn't happened. I can really over think things! As I always say, it comes back to trust. Trusting God that He has the best plan. The things in our head can cause us to be disturbed with anxiety. We are trying to figure out how, when, where and it is too much for us and it may not be best for us. And it may never happen. If we want a calm, undisturbed heart, we have give this to God.

I bet you have already said my line, "I can't help it." I read we are not to say, "I can't help it." We already know there are times we are no help - we just need Jesus. We can try to trust Him and not help Him through Christ, who strengthens us. Philippians 4: 13, "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Whatever we are trying to make happen or figure out, let's let God handle it in His perfect way and perfect time. Let's just start thanking Him for what He has done, is doing and will do!

"You spend most of your life inside your head, make it a good place to be!"
