Bittersweet Farewell

There are times when we see the Lord closing one door so we race to open the next door rather than waiting on Him to do it for us. This is probably why God is so secretive most of the time. He wants us to learn to trust Him and lean on Him, not forfeit His blessings. In Jesus there is fulfillment and complete satisfaction, He doesn't settle or compromise. Not only am I satisfied and at peace, knowing this is His will to quit writing blogs, I am waiting with great expectations for what's next! Philippians 4: 7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." This just feels right!
As I complete this blog and say goodbye, I believe I have reaped a harvest. I thank God for these seven years that taught me so much. I have made many friends- many I have never met in person! Thank you for the many words of encouragement through messages, comments, emails, texts and calls. We have carried each other's burdens and celebrated with each other. Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12, "Two are better than one...If either of them falls down, one can help the other up....Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm...two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
I don’t have the answers to what’s ahead but I know God isn't finished with me and He has the best plan and a purpose for where He is placing me. Jeremiah 29: 11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" I believe I have found the desire of my heart in "our" ministry. Psalm 37: 4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." I plan on watching Ephesians 3: 20, "Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..." Thank you for your prayers as I continue my calling, Jill Jarrell-Newsome Ministries. Please keep me in mind for speaking, conferences or retreats! You are loved, appreciated and treasured! Keep in touch!
