I Did Not See This Coming!

The last six weeks - Every day I send out several hundred email blogs through a company I pay. People are calling, emailing and texting that they are not getting their blogs. Much time has been spent trying to resolve this. For the last seven years I have always written ahead but now I'm behind and my thoughts are for upcoming events, not blogs. I need more time with Mom and I am feeling burdened. "If it is of God you don't have to jerk or jump!" Pastor Barry

I began to discern what God was telling me. Psalm 46: 10, "Be still, and know that I am God." Why would God not have me write? Proverbs 3: 5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." God continues to confirm it's time to move on and I feel a weight lifted. This is a tough season. I need to soak in God's Word and His Presence, take care of myself and "our" ministry and enjoy time with Mom. This will be my last week of blogs.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven...” Verse 11, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” He gives seasons of joy and gladness, seasons for holding and laughing but none of these last forever. In His perfect timing, the Giver takes back the treasures He lent, reminding us that they never truly belonged to us. James 1: 17, "Every good and perfect gift is from above..." Our seasons are not ours to own. This is challenging because I love writing and I can't see what's ahead but I trust God based on His past faithfulness! I do know it will be beautiful!
