Sometimes when things don't go my way or in my time frame, I question if I heard God right? God, was that you really talking to me? With certain issues I have done that more than two or three times because I am letting Satan make me doubt. There are times that we are in a spiritual war, and the only way to fight Satan is to know and speak the Word of God.
We are going to have trials. John 16: 33, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Satan may have power but we have power and authority. Luke 10: 19, "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." Things can come against us but nothing can cause any permanent damage to us. Isaiah 54: 17, "...no weapon forged against you will prevail." We can have peace knowing that God is on our side!
I was told the fact that I have forces against me is proof that I have an awesome destiny. I love that! Trust God as you wait. Remember, He doesn't look for perfect people, He is looking for people who need a Savior and want to turn their test into a testimony! Maybe we are still being tested. Don't give up, God wastes nothing and He is working! He is preparing you, equipping you and growing your faith! Keep trusting Him for His perfect plan and His perfect time! If we could see the size of the blessing we would understand the size of the battle!
